Kamar Uddin is an experienced Barrister with a broad practice spanning chancery, commercial, employment and family-related property disputes. Throughout his career, he has appeared as an advocate in the Chancery Division, King’s Bench Division, Administrative Court and the Senior Courts Costs Office, and has represented clients before the Court of Appeal on numerous occasions.

Kamar has particular expertise in partnership disputes, trusts, beneficial ownership, financial remedies, inheritance, employment law and complex property litigation. His practice regularly involves high-value and multi-jurisdictional disputes, including international trust and tracing claims, matrimonial property disputes, and commercial matters requiring strategic advocacy.

He has appeared in a number of significant reported cases, including Miah v Islam [2010] EWHC 1569 (Ch), Rowley v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions [2007] EWCA Civ 598, Hoque v Ali [2012] EWCA Civ 274, and Chen v Chui [2011] EWHC 1276 (Ch). His experience also includes acting in complex international trust litigation involving assets exceeding £144 million, successfully defending allegations of sham trusts in financial remedy proceedings involving property worth over £4 million, and representing multinational employers in employment disputes.

Authorised by the Bar Standards Board for Direct Access and to conduct litigation, Kamar provides practical, strategic legal advice and advocacy for individuals, businesses and professionals across a wide range of civil and commercial matters.

Robert Mackenzie

Robert Mackenzie is a highly experienced Barrister with extensive expertise across tax, commercial, and business and property law. Called to the Bar in 1996, he advises clients on a broad range of contentious and advisory matters, combining technical legal knowledge with a practical, commercially focused approach to dispute resolution and litigation.

His practice has a particular emphasis on direct taxation, trusts, insolvency, probate, and chancery matters. Robert has appeared in a number of reported tax cases, including Ford v HMRC and Minto v HMRC, and regularly advises individuals, businesses, trustees, and professionals on complex tax and trust-related issues.

In addition to his tax practice, Robert has considerable experience in commercial litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, personal injury claims, including credit hire matters, and wider business and property litigation. He is authorised by the Bar Standards Board to accept Direct Access instructions and conduct litigation, enabling clients to receive specialist legal representation across a broad range of legal matters.

Robert graduated from University College London with a BA (Hons) in Greek and Latin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He is a member of Gray’s Inn, the Revenue Bar Association, and the Worshipful Company of Bakers.
